E-zec Medical awarded NEPTS contract for NHS Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group, NHS North Somerset CCG and NHS South Gloucestershire CCG.
We are delighted to have been awarded this new contract, which commences on the 1st April 2017, providing non-emergency transport services to Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire patients. The service includes a dedicated call centre, control planning and despatch, road teams and a new vehicle fleet.
Over the coming months E-zec’s senior management teams will be working with the commissioners and hospital trust’s to ensure a successful transition. This will guarantee a reliable and robust service is delivered to patients from the 1st April 2017 and for the contract period.Operating locations in Bristol have already been identified, vehicles have been ordered and a ‘bespoke’ mobilisation plan is already in place to ensure the go-live is as successful as the resent ones E-zec have completed this year.
Paul Swann (Managing Director) commented:
This year, the E-zec team have mobilised 7 Non-Emergency Transport contracts, transferred over 500 staff into the organisation and purchased over 200 vehicles. The team have all worked extremely hard to ensure the services were delivered to schedule. Most importantly, patients, transferring staff and trust personnel noticed an immediate difference in the service delivery.
It has been a very exciting time for E-zec during 2016 .There has been a significant change in the sector and commissioners are recognising the advantages of procuring an experienced provider such as E-zec. This is down to our commitment, quality driven service and understanding of the NEPT sector.
The senior management team at E-zec have been with the company for many years and understand every element of the service delivery and mobilisation model. This understanding is the reason we have been able to mobilise back to back services, during 2016. All mobilisation dates were met without delay, as the contracts were selected by our bid team to fit the business plan.
I’m so proud to be part of a great team, supplying an essential service to people who rely on E-zec to transport them to and from healthcare facilities.
